dose aft. 1 or more loading doses. To
adjust accord to severity of infect.
Dosage adjustment in pts. with renal
impair, can be used in children from
2 mths. old See lit.
Severe gram +tive infect., serious staph. infects. Proph. against gram +tive
endocardit. in dental surg. to high risk
heart pts. I.P: peritonit. in pts. undergoing
chron. ambulat. peritoneal dialysis.
C/I: Hypersens. to glycopeptide
antibiotics.
