    Rabies Immuneglobulin 150 IU/ml.
    Sol. FOR INJECT. (VIALS): 1 x 2 ml, 10 ml.
    20 IU/kg (0.133 ml/kg) bdy wt. prefer.
    at time of 1st dose. May also be given
    through 7th day aft. 1st dose given.

    Rabies Immuneglobulin 2.5 IU.
    VIAL (pwdr.): 1 + 1 syringe solv. (0.5 ml). Pre-expos. vaccinat: 3 doses, on day zero, day 7, day 28 or day 21. Booster inject. aft. pre-expos. vaccinat. 1 yr. aft. prim. vaccinat., follow. by booster inject. every 5 yrs.
    Post-expos. 
    vaccinat: Fully immunized subjects: 2 booster doses, on day zero and day 3. Non-immunized subjects: 5 doses, on day zero, day 3, day 7, day 14 and day 28. See lit.
    Prevent. rabies in child and adults. Can be used bef. and aft. expos. as prim. vaccinat. or as booster dose.
    C/I: Pre-exposure vaccination: Hypersens. to the active subst. or to polymyxin B, to streptomycin, to neomycin or to any antibiotic of the same group, to a previous admin. or to any vaccine contain. the same components. Vaccinat. should be postponed in case of febrile or acute dis.
    Post-exposure vaccin.: Given the fatal outcome of the declared rabies infec., there are no contraindic. to post-exposure vaccination.
