Antihistamine, Decongestant. Loratadine 5 mg, Pseudoephedrine Sulphate 120 mg. TABS: 14. One tab. ×2/d with a glass of water. The durat. of tmt. should be kept as short as possible. It is advisable to limit tmt. to about 10 d.
Relief of sympt. of season. allerg. rhinitis when both the antihistam. properties and the nasal decongest. activity are desired.
C/I: Hypersens. Pts. who are receiv. irrevers. MAO inhib. ther. or during the 2 wks. follow. the stop. of such tmt., and in pts. with: narrow-ang. glauc., urin.retent., cardiovasc. dis. (e.g. ischaem. heart dis., tachyarrhythm. sev. hypertens. hyperthyroid)., Pts. with hist. of haemorhag. stroke or with risk fact. which could incr. the risk of haemorhag. stroke (in comb. with other vasoconstrict. such as bromocripitine, pergolide, lisuride, cabergoline, ergotamine, dihydroergotamine or any other decongest. meds. used as a nasal decongest., either by oral route or by nasal route, e.g. phenylpropanolamine, phenylephrine, ephedrine, oxymetazoline, naphazoline).
