    Lotemax Suspension

    Corticosteroid. Loteprednol Etabonate 5 mg/ml.
    OPHTH. SOLN: 5 ml. Shake vigorously
    bef. use. Steroid respons. dis: 1-2 drops
    into conjunct. sac of affect. eye/s 4 x
    dly. During initial tmt. 1st wk, dose
    may incr. up to 1 drop/hour if req. Do
    not discont. prematurely. If signs,
    sympts. fail to improve aft. 2 days,
    reevaluate pt. Post-op. inflamm: 1-2
    drops into conjunct. sac of operated
    eye/s 4 x dly, begin. 24 hrs aft. surg.
    Cont. throughout first 2 wks of postop.
    per.
    Tmt. steroid respons. inflamm. conds. of
    palpebral and bulbar conjunct., cornea
    and anter. segment globe, such as allergic
    conjunctivit., acne rosacea, fic. punctate
    keratit., herpes zoster keratit., irit., cyclit.,
    select. infect. conjunctivitides, when
    inherent hazard steroid use is an advis.
    diminut. in edema and inflamm. post-op.
    inflamm. follow. oc. surg.
    C/I: Most viral dis. cornea and conjuntiv.
    incl. epithel. herpes simples keratit.
    (dendrit. keratit.), vaccin., varicella, in
    mycobact. infect. of eye and fung. dis.
    oc. struct; suspect. hypersens., to any of
    the ingred. and to other corticoster.

    Aminoglycoside, Corticosteroid. Loteprednol Etabonate 5 mg/ml, Tobramycin 3 mg/ml.
    OPHTH. SUSP: 5 ml. Shake vigorously
    bef. use. Apply 1-2 drops into
    conjunct. sac affect. eye/s every 4-6
    hrs. During initial 24-48 hrs dos. may
    be incr. to every 1-2 hrs. Don’t
    discontinue ther. premat. Initial: Not
    more than 20 ml, presript. not to be
    refilled without further evaluat.
    Steroid-respons. inflamm. oc. conds. when
    indicat. and where fic. bact. oc. infect/risk
    of bact. oc. infect. exists.
    C/I: Most viral dis. of cornea and
    conjunctiva, mycobacter. infect., fung.
