Skeletal Muscle Relaxant. Baclofen 0.5 mg/ml , 2 mg/ml.
Amp. 1/5 X 0.5 mg per ml or 2 mg per ml for intrathecal inj.: Dose: see lit.
Pts. with sev. chron. spastic. resul. from trauma, MS or other spinal cord disord., who are unrespons. to oral baclofen or other oral antispastic agents and/or pts. who exper. unaccept. side effects at effect. oral doses.
In adult pt.s with sev. chron. spastic. of cerebr. origin, result. from CP, brain trauma or CVA; however, clinic. exper. is limited.
Pediatr. pop: in pts. aged 4 to <18 years with sev. chron. spastic. of cerebr. or spinal origin (assoc. with injury, MS, or other spinal cord dis.) who are unrespons. to oral antispast. (incl. oral baclofen) and/or who exper. unaccept. side effects at effect. oral doses.
C/I: hypersens.
Any route of admin. other than intrathecal.

Skeletal Muscle Relaxant. Baclofen 10 mg, 25 mg.
TABS: 50 x 10 mg, 25 mg. Initial: 5 mg 3
x dly., incr. at 3 day intervals up to
40-80 mg dly. in div. doses accord. to
individ. req.
Muscle spasticity of varying origin.
C/I: Hypersens.
Present/history of gastric ulc.
