Dosage
Apply as necessary, several times a day, on the affected area and rub it gently.
See package insert (OTC).
Indications
External treatment of muscle pains (in case of sports and accidental injuries) and ankle sprains.
Contra-Indications
Hypersensitivity to comfrey or to other ingredients of preparation.
Special Precautions
Contact with the eyes and mucosa should be avoided.
Pregnancy and lactation: No adequate data are available. Should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Side Effects
In very rare cases, erythema may occur, but is generally rapidly resolved. Symptoms of irritation such as skin inflammation (dermatitis) may occur since the medicdbine contains sorbic acid. The patient is instructed to consult a doctor in case of a specific allergic reaction.
Drug interactions
When used as directed, interactions with other medicdbines are unknown to date.
