Aminoalkyl Ethers. Doxylamine Succinate 20 mg, Pyridoxine (Vit B6) HCl 20 mg. ER Tabs: 50 X 20 mg / 20 mg. Init. 1 tab. At bedtime. on 1st day. If this dose adeq. controls sympt. the next day, cont. with 1 tab. dly. at bedtime. If sympt.
persist. on 2nd day, incr. dly. dose to one tab. morning, one tab. at bedtime. see lit.
tmt. of nausea and vomit. of pregn. in women who do not respond to conservat. Managem.
C/I: Hypersens.
MAOI use.
Aminoalkyl Ethers. Doxylamine Succinate 10 mg, Pyridoxine (Vit B6) HCl 10mg. Delayed-rel. TABS.:100. Init. 2 tabs. at
bedt. on 1st day. If this dose adeq.
controls sympt. the next day, cont. with
2 tabs. daily at bedt. However, if sympt.
persist into the aftern. of 2nd day, take
the usual dose of 2 tabs. at bedt. that
night then take 3 tabs. start. on 3rd day
(1 tab. in the morn. and 2 tabs. at
bedt.). If these 3 tabs. adeq. control
symp. on 4th day, cont. taking 3 tabs.
dly. Otherwise take 4 tabs. start. on 4th
day (1 tab. in the morn., 1 tab. midaftern.
and 2 tabs. at bedt.). Max.
recom. dose : 4 tabs. a day (1 tab.
morn., 1 tab. in the mid-aftern. and 2
tabs. at bedt.) dly on an empty
stomach with a glass of water.
Tmt. of nausea and vomit. of preg. in
women who do not respond to
conservative management.
C/I: Known hypersens. to doxylamine
succinate,/ other ethanolamine
derivative antihistam., pyridoxine
hydrochloride. Concom. use with MAO
inhib.
Selective Progestin Modulator. Ulipristal Acetate 5 mg. TAB.: 28. Usual dosage: one tab. 5 mg/d with water, with/without food, for a tmt. cycle up to 3 mnths.
The 3-mnths. tmt. may be repeated only once. If an additional 3-mnths. tmt. with the drug should be taken as early as possible during the 2nd menstr. cycle after completion of the 1st cycle.
The tmt. should be init. during the 1st wk. of the menst. cycle. See lit.
Uterine myomas are benign tumors of the uterine muscle tissue that might cause increased menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain (abdominal discomfort) and pressure on different organs.
C/I:Hypersens. Preg./lact. Pts. vag. bleed. not due to uterine myomas. Pts. with uterine cancer, cervical, ovarian, breast cancer.
