    Sensitizers for Photodynamic/Radiation Therapy. Aminolevulinic Acid (as Hydrochloride ) 78 mg/g.
    GEL: 2g. Actinic keratosis lesions should be evaluated three mnths. after treatment. Non- or partial. respond.  lesions should be re-treated in a 2nd  session. The gel should cover the lesions and approx.  5 mm of the surround. area with a film of about 1 mm thickness. The entire  tmt.  area will be illumin.  with a red light source, either with a narrow spectr.  around 630 nm and a light dose of approx.  37 J/cm2 or a broader and contin.  spectr.  in the range between 570 and 670 nm with a light dose betwn. 75 and 200 J/cm2. Actinic keratosis lesions should be evaluated three mnths. after treatment. See lit.
    Tmt. of actinic keratosis of mild- moder. intens. on the face and scalp (Olsen grade 1 to 2).
    C/I: Hypersens. Hypersens. to porphyrins. Porphyria. Known photodermatoses of varying pathology and frequency, e.g. metabolic disord. e.g.:  as aminoaciduria, idiopathic or immunol. disord. such as polymorph.  light reaction, genetic disord.  such as xeroderma pigmentosum, and dis.  precipitated or aggravate. by exposure to sun light such as lupus erythematoides or phemphigus erythemtoides.
